So I have this cool journal skin thanks to

yay!
So I have been on long absentees for a while because i have been busy with things.. but I have posted an eye sketch that has drawn some attention; not much, but more than I have had in a while. It has sort of inspired me to perhaps add more things to DA.
Being in school for art is challenging and very fun. It doesn't leave too much time for personal art projects; the ones I have done are not even posted because I sort of feel like I have lost the excitement or draw of DA. Uploading things can turn out to be more depressing than beneficial now. I don't feel as though my gallery truly reflects who I am as an artist and I honestly don't know what to do to fix that at the moment.
I have asked more popular artists their advice for getting more feedback or followers. I was told that told by one or two that they got popular through fanart. I enjoy fanart, but personally I feel like galleries full of just fanart are not as interesting as diverse personal works, no matter how good the art is.
I don't know, anyone have an opinion? (anyone ever read these..?)
